About this blog
This blog is an evolution of the previous version hosted on blogger. Back in the days, I wrote about personal anecdotes, from trips and excursions to more personal thoughts. It's been a while since I last wrote on that subject, but I wanted to keep these almost three years of stories. If you come looking for that, El genuino Simón is for you.
simonpena.com comes from my personal blog, but it also took a lot from Pennybank: an failed Open Source application intended to help OS X users on their home accounting. Although Pennybank is currently abandoned, a number of entries in this blog tell the story of its development, and even now I receive visits looking for Hibernate errors. If you are interested, you can find it in the Pennybank category
During the 2009 / 2010 course I attended the Master on Free Software organized jointly by Igalia and the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos from Madrid: you can find related content on the Free SW Master category.
Lately I've been writing about Maemo and Meego - Harmattan development, but don't rule out writing about other mobile platforms in the future. Whatever you're looking for, be welcome
By the way, although I work for Igalia since 2010, all the opinions expressed in this blog are mine and don't represent the official position of Igalia in any way.
